Don’t Pray if You are Worried

Philippians 4:6-7
6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is said if you are going to worry don’t pray and if you pray, don’t worry.
It would be great to have a worry-free life but how can we with everything that is happening to us daily.
I know because besides the troubles of the world, which are getting worse by the minute, it appears that every few days I was having one medical situation after the other. I found myself focusing on what is going to happen next rather than what lesson is God trying to teach me to make me stronger and rely on Him.
I know that Worry, Anxiety and Fear all go hand in hand. They all are distractions instrumented by Satan.
We stop trusting God and that makes Satan, the author of confusion happy that we begin to feel like God has abandoned us.
Worrying can also cause you to have a host of medical challenges, and that is why we must make sure that we are turning all our trials and tribulations over to Our Heavenly Father.
We were not designed to handle this and must turn over all our cares to Him. All He wants from us is to do our best and He will do the rest.
